PROJECTS
From enterprise database systems to simple website production — we're doing it all.
Profiles of some of our most recent projects highlight the breadth
and depth of our work and collaboration.
MOCA
Capellic has partnered with
NPower NY
to redesign
MOCA's (Museum of Chinese in the Americas)
website
with Druapl content management system on the backend. Phase 1 launched in October. Additional phases and
ongoing maintenanes are in the works.
CDS International
Capellic has partnered with
NPower NY
to deliver a robust, enterprise
web application for
CDS International,
a non-profit organization
committed to the advancement of international practical training
opportunities for young professionals, students, educators, as well
as labor, business and government representatives.
CDS serves over 2,000 individuals annually from over 70 countries
worldwide in a variety of work/study, internship, fellowship and
study tour programs.
The application, known as CARL, manages all inbound and outbound participants
including managing host families, host companies and host universities.
CARL is equipped with views and reports to expedite processes and
work-flows.
Euphoric Organics by Renée Loux
Renée Loux,
world-renowned raw chef and all around green living
advocate, needed an easy way to manage her events calendar, catalog of
recipes and media coverage on her website,
Euphoric Organics.
Capellic installed
Gradient CMS and built
custom modules to handle her specific needs. Images uploaded into Gradient are
automatically resized to fit the site's design and required fields are
enforced to be sure a page doesn't look too sparse. Renée is able
to pair recipes and organize them by course,
season and dietary categories. Gradient
allows her to add more categories as needed.
Loöq Records
Loöq Records and Capellic have teamed up on several occasions dating
back to 2002. Our latest collaboration involves integrating
Gradient CMS into their new site design.
Gradient has been built-out to manage their label catalog including the
management of sample files and links to third party MP3 download sites such as
iTunes.
A members' area was also added including a double opt-in registration process
and the ability to create a membership card after uploading a picture.
New member account information has been integrated into their existing bulk-email
application previously built by Capellic.
The Coalition of Behavioral Health Agencies
Initially brought into the fold in early 2006 to manage website updates,
Capellic is happy to announce the commencement of
The Coalition's website redesign
project with
Tom Dolle Designs
leading the design phase.
Capellic is a general advisor during design and will be handling production
and continuous improvements to functionality and utilities. The new site is expected
to be launched by the end of the summer.
Over the last year, Capellic has built a number of Gradient modules for The Coalition.
They were easily able to manage seat inventory for their annual circus
fundraiser. A module has been built
to upload directory data that has been exported from their internal, Access
database.
Capellic has also improved content reliability by training staff to use Adobe
Contribute with great success.
